5 steps to a faster function of the gastrointestinal tract

If you have kept up to date with our products, you know that the health of the gastrointestinal tract is a very important aspect in creating products. These are a few extra tips for saying goodbye to flatulence, diarrhea and constipation for good.

1) Boost your metabolism

An average of 100 trillion microorganisms are found in our intestines. The plus side of these microorganisms is that they do not cause disease or have a harmful effect on our body. They help with food digestion, absorption of nutrients, and they boost the immune system.

Food for maintaining healthy intestines: kefir, yoghurt, fermented soy cheese.

People not consuming this type of food can add probiotic supplements to their diet, but consuming both types of food does not pose any health risks.

2) Prebiotic food intake

This type of food is described as food necessary for the growth and development of probiotics. Prebiotics are non-digestible components found in different types of food. They work in synergy with probiotics to ensure optimization of the intestinal flora.

Food rich in prebiotics is: garlic, onion, banana and sweet potato.

3) Be calm during the meal

We have all had moments when we have consumed too much or too little food which has caused stress for our stomach. Secretion of gastric acid can lead to flatulence and discomfort. These reasons lead to the principle of slow eating and consuming light food with rich nutritional composition. Try to avoid any distractions during the meal. It would be great if you could switch off your TV, mobile phone and sit for 20 minutes during meal time. Enjoy the food, active all of your senses because the body uses the food better when it does not feel additional stress.

4) Drink more than 2 litres of water

Exactly! Water regulates, refreshes and most importantly does not contain extra calories which may cause instability in the gastrointestinal tract.

Water may not have scored high on the list of liquids until now, but with only a few days of hydrated body, the number of changes occurring can be surprising. Water flushes out all the blood toxins, feeds all your cells and helps during constipation and relief of the gastrointestinal tract. If water alone is not your favourite drink, we suggest a few healthy and refreshing drinks for easier intake of liquids during the day.

  • Boil 2 teaspoons of Slim&Fit tea from Vitalia in 1.5 litres of water. Once cooled, add 1 chopped lemon in pieces and a few cucumber slices. This refreshing drink can be consumed during the day, giving you healthy benefits as well as reducing excess kilograms.

  • Boil 2 teaspoons of cranberry tea from Vitalia and 1 teaspoon of green tea in 1.5 litres of water. Once cooled, you can add a few grains of fresh pomegranate and one orange chopped in pieces. Enjoy the freshness of the drink with extra benefits for hydration during the day.

  • 1 glass of Aronia tea from Vitalia, with half a spoon of coconut oil.

5) Listen to your body

Never ignore the signals your body sends. Those are the first signals for some problem which must not be ignored. These are just a few tips to help you discover what food is harmful:

Maintain simple and easy recipes on a daily basis, that is, keep a record of what you have consumed.

Once you have followed this process for 4 to 5 days, study the products and see what food you eat the most, at which part of the day and in what form.

In case of such food, remove it from the menu and wait for the effects. In most cases like this, the favourite food is the one that causes the biggest problem of flatulence, diarrhea or constipation, lack of energy and weakness.

Every part of the body has a story to tell for the function of the organs. Get to know you, analyse your skin in detail, fat storage, your nail and hair firmness, the colour of your eyes. If there is a hidden problem, these are the ways for early detection.
