The ‘30% less sugar’ new recipe claim relates to the sugar content of Vitalia Crunchy Muesli versus the average of other crunchy muesli present on the market. The percentage sugar reduction is higher when compared with the previous Vitalia Crunchy Muesli recipe. To support this new recipe, market sales data were screened to identify and extract products in the Crunchy Muesli category. Total sugar content per 100g were obtained from in store audits of labels of packaging, manufacturer or retailers websites.
