Diet extra apricot jam is produced by a traditional recipe with 55% fresh fruit coming from ecological and clean orchards in Macedonia. Sweetened with fructose – fruit sugar, it contains 35% less calories than the regular jam. The traditional preparation enables the diet jam to preserve all the nutrients present in the fruit. From the vitamins, the apricot contains carotene which gives the orange colour to the apricot; then B vitamins, folic acid, vitamins E and C. From the minerals, it contains potassium, calcium; then phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc and copper. The apricot is often said to be “the royal fruit” due to encouraging children’s growth, improving eyesight and increasing illness resistance. It is commonly used in cases of anemia. Diet extra jams from Vitalia contain no additives or conservatives.

Consume the Diet extra apricot jam in combination with a slice of wholegrain bread, puffed cake (rice, wheat and cereal), or as a supplement to desserts or sweets.
