Whole-grain oats are rich in protein, vitamins (vitamins B, vitamins K, E, D and provitamin A), minerals (calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, copper, zinc, manganese and sodium) and essential amino acids that stimulate the formation of red blood cells.
