“Vitalia” opened its own analytical laboratory

Having the strictest standards for quality and food safety requires a deeper and more efficient control primarily of the production processes, but also of the finished product that is placed on the supermarket shelves.

Aware of the need for a detailed and quick analysis of the finished product in order to maintain its quality and safety, the largest healthy food producer in the region – Vitalia – opened its own analytical laboratory.

The laboratory was opened in April and is located in a new, modernly equipped facility with the latest equipment for performing physico-chemical analyses, including Elisa – spectrophotometer, moisture meter – a thermogravimetric method that allows the measurement of % moisture in samples, gluten testing method – RIDASCREEN® Gliadin (Art. No. R7001) as well as an incubator for microbiological analyses.

This year, the laboratory will be accredited according to the ISO 17025 standard, which will increase the number of methods for the analysis of its own products, as well as the possibility of providing its services to other companies.
